Having been exalted into the Holy Royal Arch and advanced into Mark Masonry, a Freemason with an enquiring mind is presented with several opportunities to further his knowledge. One of the most interesting of these is to discover the five diverse ceremonies which comprise the Allied Masonic Degrees. Many of these ceremonies date from the 18th and early 19th centuries and were brought together under the Grand Council of the Allied Masonic Degrees in 1879.
